Its Finished

I know that this is a bit late seeing that i handed it in almost 2 weeks ago. But it was a real pleasure finishing that website. Especially putting those formatting finishing touches ensuring it looked the best. Seeing my development infront of my eyes was amazing.
I did gain many new skills i hope to carry with me in this career. Its amazing that just learning a few little things changes one's perspective on that area. Im always wondering how someone lays out a website but now instead of just staring in aww i now i kno and if im not sure there is always firebug.

It was great being in this class and i look foreward to the advance class to better my skills.

Finishing Touches

I must say the website is coming along quiet well. Ive got my required 5 pages, 3 sub pages, and a page with links to other areas on the page, css, columns, tables, pictures, links to other pages such as facebook and twitter, ads, a good colour combination, logo and all these things just 1 thing left and its to add music and ill be finished.

But i am glad that i finished my midterm very quickly and im hoping a got a good grade for that.

Week 9

Im almost at the finish with my website...i think, i hope. ive got pictures,tables, columns, tabs, info. the whole works jus need to perfect it graphically. ive also started working on my midterm which hasnt given me a hassel yet, but im sure it'll come one of these days.
im still having a problem with link and visited, my hover works perferctly. however, my links arent always the right colour and my visited either doesnt show or doesnt change after you've moved to a difernent page.
ive changed my logo and it doesnt seem to be responding...so im going to try it using the macs instead of my computer and see if it works.
after all that is figured out im hoping ill be about finished

Class 7-Still Working On Website

well i learnt how to add tables today which ive placed in my gallery & products. Im now adding photos to my gallery and other places. im having a problem with link,visited and hover section, my visited wont work for some strange reason. ive decided to leave that for some other time when i have dealt with more complicated issues. i think thats all ive dun in class today. but im taking a weeks break from this thing rest my brain and concentrate on a few other things then next week ill b back up at it again.

Working On Website-Class 6

So today's class was based on working on my website. luckily for me i started my website from last week so it was easier for me. I was working on fixing my containers, creating links, adding logos and just fixing the layout and everything for the website. I had a few problems as is natural but its coming along. I like the way my website is going so far. So good.

Class 5-Navigation

OK so we did a class assignment, that was interesting. I mainly copied and pasted most of my css but i wrote it down that i wont forget it in serious times. for the most part class was ok and cool. putting into practice background for links making them change color while hovering and visited. we also learnt how to change the navigation list from a vertical list to a horizontal list which was a bit more difficult than everything else. Especially with everyone else who couldnt get and i had to go around and figure out what was wrong with them. it was usually simple things that you would normally look past so its hard to detect. but fortunately we were able to figure it out.

Creating Columns

Oh wow class was exciting and complicated and made my brain really have to work (which isn't a bad thing). Creating the columns were an interesting things. Having to navigate all through the css and the html, making everything work was difficult, however mine wasn't as difficult as trying to help others with their css and trying to figure out what was wrong and fix it. I think i have a grasp of what i'm doing for the most part ill go home and try it on my website and see how it works out.

I still like this classs even though i dont think everyone else does. when it gets more complicated ill c what i say then.

My Own Website

ok so out of idleness ive decided to create my own website, which so far is coming on pretty fine, bt its just a basic website that i cn try out all that ive learned in class and which will hopefully make it easier for me when doing our final. and really the mre i continue the mre i feel like i could consider a career in web design.

3rd Class

Oh wow class is really getting harder, but its still fun.
Well this class we learned the different style sheets and created an html all on our own ad wow adding all those details were a headache.
I personally prefer external style sheets rather than inline and embedding but i guess ill have to use all at some point in time. I cnt wait to start doing my h/w it seems like it shall give ma brain a challenge an it really needs that right nw.

2nd Class

ok so class was once again interesting. class started out slow with just dwnlding software bt once that was over we went str8 into the work- finishing the website. i learned how to add images, align it to different areas and doing minor touch-ups. it still reminded me off programming but much more fun. firebug was really helpful it showed me the things that i was actually changing so i got a better grasp of it instead of just going blind.
all in all it was good and i learned a lot

1st Class

The 1st class was very interesting. At first i had no great expectations of the class but to do it and pass. web design was never something i was really interested in doing. However, after the 1st class it really peaked my interest. Unfortunately its like programming but it didnt really feel like programming when i started doing it. It was fun trying to find the possible ways of changing just tiny details of a web page it also made me appreciate the simple things of a website.

Last semester Astarte gave us a website for colors thought u might like it
